Well, I think that ship has sailed. Big providers are employing strict DMARC policy and much more providers are willing to enforce these.

IMHO we just have to accept that email is not "anyone can send anything" anymore.

I just found a few launchpad messages in my spam folder. Besides Canonical having a DMARC record but no DKIM signature/SPF record the main culprit seems to be the From header which contains a commenter's email address.

Well that goes directly against DMARC and I can somehow understand their reasoning even if it is a bit annoying at times. Still I hope launchpad could be reconfigured to use an email address "@canonical.com" or "@bugs.launchpad.net".
