Launchpad Wiki

Asked by C.Kontros

This is kind of a feature request. Sorry if it has been proposed before.

I use Launchpad because of several -Ubuntu-related projects like many of us. But, I have recently created a couple of small projects that would benefit from 1 small wiki page for additional info but really don't belong on the Ubuntu wiki.

The https://wiki.ubuntu.com design, but with https://wiki.launchpad.net/<PROJECT>/ or https://<PROJECT>.wiki.launchpad.net/ or https://launchpad.net/<PROJECT>/+wiki
I can see great benefit from a https://wiki.launchpad.net. Is it out of the realm of possibility?

Well, currently, yes. But there are a large number of free wiki hosting
services you can use as a workaround; I like wiki.is myself.

This is one of the projects we'll be considering for starting post-July.

It's now September.

Is there anything you can tell us about this?

I'm not expecting results, but it would be nice to have the tiniest start of the barest hint of a beginning of a road-map. :-)

Persons interested in this issue should probably read the related bug and the bugs and blueprints to which it relates. As of this writing, none of them describe a plan, but you can subscribe to lots of things to make yourself feel better.
