vcs-imports: gstreamer way way out of date

Asked by Michael B. Trausch

GStreamer is way way out of date.

I don't really know how to use CVS (it works way too differently with the way it versions crap) and I wanted to just pull from bzr here, and it's too far out of date for me to do so. Can it be refreshed and kept up-to-date?

This may have been caused by a change in the URL for the upstream repository. The link to CVS HEAD on the upstream download page was broken. Nobody owns this Launchpad project, so maybe it was just never updated when it needed to be. Working anonymous CVS is at anoncvs.freedesktop.org:/cvs/gstreamer

Well, renamed the existing one to

  https://code.edge.launchpad.net/~vcs-imports/gstreamer/old-trunk

And created a new one at:

  https://code.edge.launchpad.net/~vcs-imports/gstreamer/trunk

With some luck we'll be cooking soon.
