Landscape server hostname

Asked by Michal Smereczynski

Hi there,
Is it possible to change Landscape hostname after installation? As default Landscape is getting system hostname and configures itself with the same hostname. In case of cloud platforms (I'm using Azure Cloud) there is problem with internal hostnames. Every VM has internal (IaaS) hostname like: vmname.cloudservicename.zone.internal.cloudapp.net - this hostname is reachable ony inside the same Cloud Service (container) and is pointing to private IP address. Public hostname is like cloudservice.cloudapp.net and is pointing to the public IP. I wish to deploy Landscape on VM, but I need to change hostname it uses from private one to the public one. Also, mabe landscape-server-quickstart should ask about hostname during installation like Postfix does?
