L2TP over IPsec VPN Manager

Cannot connect to server that doesn't not require PPP username/password

If I don't enter a PPP username and password the tray icon will not initiate a VPN connection. Is there a possible workaround for this? Currently I'm not sure if putting in a dummy username and password would work since I'm having other issues.

After clearing up other issues and testing this out again with dummy credentials it works.
