Is this project dead?

Asked by Juan Simón

I use this program since a long time. Is the best launcher for Linux that I've tested until now. But there isn't updates since a long time. Is this project dead? :(

Short answer: no, it's not dead.
Long answer: we don't have active development in this moment, but this may be changed in future.

Please, would be very kind of the maintainers if you could at least do maintenance in the project.
We want no new features and awesome stuff - Kupfer is awesome by itself - but things change and get outdated.

There's three years there's a simple PR at Github adding support for a now very common DE, MATE - the Gnome 2 fork. There are other 10 PRs laying there, forgotten. There's little reason to put things in Github if contribution is ignored.

Please, take a look at it and include those novelties in code. Take a look at the bug lists. Maintain it. Don't let it DIE. Dead, unmaintained open source projects is the worst thing ever.

We don't want new things, just something that still keep working :)

Thanks for you answer, Karol :)
I updated the wiki (that I didn't noticed before) with your repository URL, as it seems based on the older one that was there: https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Kupfer#preview
