Sending ICQ SMS with kopete

How can I configure Kopete to also be able to send SMS to my contacts who have a cellular phone.
with the ICQ6 there is a simple way to do that.

As far as I know there's no sms support that is related with ICQ, but an additional sms protocol. You have to install smssend in order to use it. However, I don't know whether it works or not.

Can you help with this problem?
