News from kmm2 testing

Perhaps, to do a little bit different from the standard ...

It's not because I haven't provide any news to you for a couple of days, I don't use KMM2 !
Since our last exchanges, I have completely import (using qif) and sort my compatibility data (beginning in 2002). I have finished my import filter (in awk) and I am very enjoy with KMM2.
In particular I appreciate how easy it is to change in one shot part of records for many transactions using the well made filter capacity. It gives me the possibility to set clear portion of old records.
I hope you will provide, in a next release, the possibility to purge unused records for payees and category, as discussed in a previous post.

So, I send you this post to give you my positive feed back, could you please blast this message to all the developer team.
Please keep in mind : If you have any needs for testing KMM2, come back to me.
I will be very interesting for helping in French translation. If there is something to do there please tell me "how to", I will spent some time on this.

Kris, I forwarded your message to the developers.
We also discussed the possibility to remove the unused payees and categories, though there is not a clear conclusion on how to do it yet.
I will keep you posted when a new version for Ubuntu appears.
