Kleansweep asked if I wanted to backup the files. They are kleansweep-20090113-002335.tar.gz and kleansweep-20090112-155236.tar.gz

I am guessing that KleanSweep could have a Restore option.

But you can see inside the .tar.gz file and decompress the files you need.

well ... Could you simple do a double click to open the file, There is no need to use the console if you can use FileRowller :)

Open the file a look to your files, if you told me the content of it, I can say where to uncompress it.

Hello mickiw66

I Install Kleansweep, to see your problem.

First of all, is a dangerous tool :S If you check most of the options, it makes a disaster on the /etc

Well, on the beginings you may apply kleansweep to a directory, by default is /, if this is you may go to console:

$cd /
$sudo tar zxfv /path/to/yourbackupfile.tar.gz

don't forget the sudo, and been on /.

Can you help with this problem?
