Feature request: support for git pulling of oficial KiCad part libs
Nearly every day there are changes to the official component libs of KiCad which is
great sign of activity.
In order to use the new libs in a nice way, I would suggest to add a git pull button to syncronize symbols, footprints (also 3D), and templates with the official repositories at github, while having a config option to add another repository (e.g. a mirror of the official footprints which is managed by an company/
This would allow to keep every user who just wants to have EDA and does not know much about coding to be up to date with the newset symbols at ease. So every KiCad user could enjoy the giving and taking in the open source community, as he could later open a github account and upload his symbols and request them to be reviewed.
Cheers,
Ludwig
