EEschema text annotation -fonts?

Asked by trent stevenson

More of a feature request/rant than a question as it would appear that no such option exists.

It would be hugely advantageous to be able to, at the very least, switch between a monospaced font and a proportional font. Quite often I'd like to leave text boxes with say a table layout of parameters / instructions (external hookup/application wire gauges, currents, voltages, colors) etc.

To do a pseudo table layout requires a monospaced font (forget about it with proportional). This is especially an annoyance as the insert text dialog itself uses a monospaced font, but then what appears on the schematic is actually proportional meaning that any alignment in the text dialog is lost.

It's on the version 6 road map[1]. When that actually happens remains to be seen.

Can you help with this problem?
