Gerber export profiles

I am just wondering that will be nice to have a feature to change/save/store gerber configs. For example. I would like to send my gerbers to some factory and then I can save the gerber generation saved in the project to generate the gerbers with a predefined way

Please file a bug report and set the status to wishlist if this is something you would like to see in KiCad. Perhaps someone will be able to find the time to work on it for you. I would find this useful myself. It may be a long time before someone gets around to it since we are currently in feature freeze for the stable 5 release so there will not be a lot of free time to work on new features.
