Footprints doesn't appear in Arduino Nano template in Pcbnew

Asked by minecraft2048

Basically I have created the circuit diagram in Eeschema, associate the components with the footprints in Cvpcb, and then when I'm opened the circuit diagram in Pcbnew, there is only the Arduino Nano outline without my components

Here is the images:

According to the tutorial here: http://store.curiousinventor.com/guides/kicad/pcb_layout after doing Eeschema and CvPcb, there should be a rats nest in Pcbnew. But there isn't, so what did I do wrong? I'm using the Arduino Nano template

For future reference, this it the KiCad developers site not users site. Questions asked here should be about KiCad development not KiCad usage. There are many user forums for asking these types of questions that do not waste valuable developer time. Please see the official KiCad website for a list of user forums.

It sounds like you haven't read the netlist into Pcbnew. The instructions for this can be found at:

http://docs.kicad-pcb.org/en/pcbnew.html#_reading_netlist_file_loading_footprints

Can you help with this problem?
