failure to compile to completion - two ways

Trying to go after the vary latest kicad, presently running the July, 2013 release on trusty 64 bit 14.4 LTR

running kicad-install.h with source from both github and kicad.org fail at 50% and again at 71 % completion. Apparently cmakes generates ../pcbnew/specctra_lexer.h that has numerous errors stopping progress.

So my question. How are we to enjoy the latest code when the release builds are buggy?

You know, its one thing to make sure that you've got the latest version of wxWidgets installed for instance, vs compiles breaking because they have internal errors.

Are we supposed to fix them ourelves?
