Cannot DELETE pcb outline lines...

Asked by mitch

I'd call this a Bug.
Cannot DELETE any of the lines drawn for pcb outlines. You can only move them, or edit them and then make all lines zero length and width and thickness to get rid of them...

Looks like somebody forget to allow Deletion of lines drawn for pcb outlines etc...
Am I missing it?

Since you did not include any information about what version of KiCad or platform you are using it's rather difficult to answer your question. The best and easiest way to get this information is by selecting the Help->Copy Version Information menu entry and pasting the contents of the clipboard into your question or bug report. I just checked the latest testing branch version (r4535) on 64-bit Windows 7 and I was able to delete all board outline items (lines, arcs, etc.) by right clicking and selecting delete from the context menu, hovering the cursor over the board outline item and hitting delete key, and using the delete tool and left clicking over the board outline item. I believe that is all of the possible methods of deleting board outline items. If you are using one of the recent versions of the testing branch that has the OpenGL and Cairo rendering enable, you cannot perform most editing actions without first switching back to the default canvas. Currently, the OpenGL canvas only supports push shove routing and moving items. All other editing must be performed in the default canvas. It will be a while before all of the editing tools are ported to the OpenGL and Cairo canvases.

Can you help with this problem?
