Multiple cut and pasted items on top of each other

Asked by Andrew Chin

Anyone else have this issue? Sometimes, when I cut and paste an item, it will paste it multiple times. For instance, if I paste a resistor, then try to edit it, it will tell me that there are 2 instances of that resistor in one spot when I try to edit it (it will ask me to clarify the selection and there will be x numbers of that one resistor). I thought it was just under error at first, but this has been happening multiples times on fresh projects.

Sometimes it happens to me in EESCHEMA and:

a) it is my fault, but also

b) in the library part editor there is a bug when copying a block. The drag opportunity
disappears so you cannot drag the block to a new place before it gets cloned on top of the
original block.
This b) is a bug I found today, and it is only in the library editor that I can tell.
