DXF plots from KK

Asked by TraditionAndrew Denham

Hi

In the latest version of PCBnew the dxf plot option offers Filled, Sketch or Lines, but although the dxf file is generated, the traces are no different with any option selected. Is there another item I need to change? I just get outlines of tracks and pads in Autocad or Autocad viewer.

Maybe I missed something, or is there another way to convert to a drawing for use in manuals etc. Gerber plots come out just fine.

I am running Windows XP at SP3 by the way, if this is relevant.

THANKS.

DXF has an extremely limited concept of 'line width', especially if we
want to generate a DXF compatible with something else that autocad, so
the filled mode in fact is the same as sketch.

For document inclusion you should consider PS, PDF or SVG plots.
