Middle click drag functionality in pcbnew

Asked by Peter Slupski

Dear community, this is my first post. I ask for your forgiveness.

I'd like to see the "midclick-drag" functionality, commonly found in GIMP, Electric and other apps that are around. What I mean is the ability to drag the whole design (grab a certain point and then move the workspace relative to that certain point).

How to go about implementing such a thing? What are your thoughts? Is it possible at all?

No idea about archlinux, but there are PPAs here, maybe you can find
a way to use them:
