Hi there,

Could somebody tell me where I can start specifying the track widths. Indeed, this value is directly linked to the current expected but can differ with time. Is there a way to specify a min value between components and where do I define this best?

Track Widths are controlled by the user under the Design Rules menu. Choose "Design Rules" under the Design Rules drop down menu. Then choose the "Global Design Rules" tab. Under the "Custom Track Widths" section enter in the track widths you would like to be available while laying out the board. These will show up in the track width drop down box in the toolbar. 10.0 mils is automatically in the list by default.

I don't believe you can set a min value between components, only between tracks. I could be wrong as I haven't been using KiCad too long myself.

Can you help with this problem?
