Keystone users' without domain

Asked by Marcos Lobo

Hi,

It is possible to have users without assigned domain?.

The documentation (https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Domains question 3) said that, if you do not want users belong to domains, you must to configure just one domain for all users. Is there another chance?, It's possible that exist users without domain?.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Marcos.

No. If you are going to use V3 api, then domain is part of every call. So callers/users should know their domain id/name. If you are using V2, then you have the implict domain configured in keystone conf file.

It will be easy to answer if you let us know what is your usecase.
