can't open kazam_sslv91zf.movie.mux video file

Asked by bhargav

Respected to all,

On last Sunday i have record my screen using kazam tool. Unfortunately the recording is not stopped properly and hence it generated two different files namely 1. kazam_sslv91zf.movie.mux with 649.4 MB (649,396,224 bytes) and 2. kazam_sslv91zf.movie with 0 bytes .

These is very important due to research progress meeting recording.

Please help me to play this file having extension .mux.

Thanks a lot in advance.

The .mux file you are trying to play is likely incomplete or corrupted due to the improper stop of the recording. To recover the video, you can try the following solutions: First, attempt to open the .mux file with a media player that supports this format, such as VLC or FFmpeg, as these often handle partial files better. If this doesn't work, use a tool like FFmpeg to repair or convert the .mux file. Run a command like ffmpeg -i kazam_sslv91zf.movie.mux -c copy output.mp4 to convert the .mux file into a more commonly supported format. If the file is too corrupted, recovery might be more difficult, and data recovery software could be your last resort. For more info you may visit https://ibommamoviess.com/
