Terminal Command to Stop Recording

Asked by quarkrad

I use ubuntu 18.04 (Mate) as host os. I would like to be able to stop recording unattended - then use a 'cron job' to kill Kazam and then possibly power down the pc. But I need to be able to kick off a Cron Job to Stop Recording once started - e.g. after 1.5 hours recording, I have tried killing Kazam manually, using System Monitor to end the process, but the recording is not saved. Is there a terminal command I could use to stop and save the recording?
