How do you install Kazam on Ubuntu?

I would like to install Kazam, to record my gameplay. I'm a bit confused about how Ubuntu works still.

You should be able to find kazam in the Ubuntu Software Center to install it.

If this does not work, please provide the output of the following diagnostic commands (to be executed in a terminal):

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
apt-cache policy kazam
apt-get --simulate install kazam
