Kazam Screencaster

"Key presses and mouse clicks" deactivated when running unstable version (1.5.4)

I'm using Trusty (14.04.2) and I wanted to check the latest unstable version so I run the following commands:

bzr branch lp:kazam/unstable
cd unstable/bin
./kazam --debug

I can see a "Key presses and mouse clicks" checkbox but it is greyed out.

In the log, I see: "WARNING Main - No Xlib support in python3, unable to capture key and mouse clicks."

What should be done to add support of key/mouse clicks capture in Kazam?
