Can't choose an area when recording

Hi!

This is Henry.

I have recently installed Kazam 1.4.3-2 in these Linux distros: Ubuntu 12.04 and Ubuntu 13.10. I can take screenshots and record my desktop in 'Full screen mode'. However, I'm not able to select any area with 'Area Mode'.

The thing is that I open Kazam and it lets me to choose between FullScreen and All Screens, and then, there is a menu bar where I can choose 'Window' and 'Area'. I select 'Area' and nothing happens, the cursor becomes a cross instead an arrow and thats it, i can't select nothing, even drag, Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong?
