OAuth login for jisko consuming services

Asked by Jonny

Instead of only Basic authentication, would you mind integrating Twitter's app system (like also other clones have (status.net...))?

Ie, admin of another service, creates an app at Twitter, gets the consumer key+secret, and sets it up so people can login to his service through Twitter?

I wonder how hard this can be. Just look at status.net :-) Maybe I'll try to do it myself...

Thanks, we know status.net since its start (we opened before, just for
your information :-).

About your question, we're going to do it in a week or two. Stay tuned! ;-)

I know what you are talking about, but didn't know that statusnet did
develop it.

Well, there are some priorities first, but I think for 3.2 it will be done

So, how is it going?
I tried playing with PHP OAuth provider, but it seems pretty tricky, much more trickier than consumer IMO. :-(
I'm using the explanation at http://code.google.com/p/oauth-php/wiki/ServerHowTo , but it seems incorrect (or just very hard to follow) :-P

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Jonny for more information if necessary.
