API usage

Can't figure out how to use the API. Just to get the public timeline - is a password needed? The documentation doesn't make sense. (you spelled "Authentication" wrong ;-)

I figured it out myself for now. You *MUST* use "clean_urls", or you get 404 or something.
In your settings, turn on clean urls...
