Scaling zoom regions

Asked by Gilmer Allen Gary

In the state file for JHelioviewer the first three lines are, for example,

<jhvstate>
 <layers>
  <region x="-148749650.9253" y="87927995.3449" width="287376418.5529" height="221483037.7332"/>

I would like to set the region x,y ( I assume these are the center of the region) and the width and heigth.
I need to know wat the units are and what relatioin they have to sun center.
Your feed back is appreciated.
Thanks,
Allen Gary (<email address hidden>)

 Hi Gary,

Sorry for the late reply. The x,y positions define the center of the region and are given in meters relative to Sun-center. The width and height are given in meters, too.

Best regards,

Daniel Mueller
