Cursor keys don't work to advance slides with Mac

Asked by Daria Karetnikov

I just discovered JessyInk and downloaded the showcase slides - JessyInk_1_5_5_showcase.svg. But I can't view the presentation because cursor keys are not advancing the slides. Any ideas?

Which browser did you use? Have you tried using different ones (Safari, Chrome, Firefox)?

I am not talking about the browser (I use Chrome and Firefox mostly). I am talking about downloading the JessyInk_1_5_5_showcase.svg, opening it in Inkscape and trying to watch the presentation. At the bottom of the presentation it says "use cursor keys to advance slides." The cursor keys on my Mac apparently do not work for this.

Thanks for the additional information. You can use Inkscape to modify the presentation. However, it can only be viewed in a browser. Please try loading the svg file in your browser by e.g. dragging and dropping it on top of a browser window.

Can you help with this problem?
