howto loop embedded video

Asked by Batuhan Osmanoglu

Hi,

I am using JessyInk 1.5.5 on Ubuntu Natty and I was able to embed a ogv movie into my slideshow. However I can not find a way to make the video loop, once it is started (by right clicking on the slide and selecting play). I see that the HTML5 video tag allows the loop parameter, so I was wondering if this is possible by editing the svg file manually.

Thanks a lot for making JessyInk available,
batu.

Sorry for the clutter, I guess I should have done more research on the topic before posting. I now understand that the problem is more related to the Firefox context menu, and there is an add-on called Media Loop. My problem is solved with this extension, but it would be great if this could be implemented independent of the plugin. There may be a possible work around at this address: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/747220

best,
batu.

Hi Batu,

thanks for letting me know. I am glad you were able to find a solution so quickly. Since you mentioned that there is loop parameter, I am sure it will be possible to introduce an option to the JessyInk video element.

Cheers,
Hannes
