Older version of packages

Asked by sriramrajan

This was sort of answered in this question but I want to raise it again
https://answers.launchpad.net/ius/+question/110905

Is there any way we can get older versions of packages ?

Here's a good use case
Customer wants to install mysql55-devel but because there are no older version, he is forced to upgrade mysql55-* as well. Not ideal for environments where this is not easy to do.

Worst case, is there a way to generate packages using something else ?

Thoughts ?

Thanks
Sri Rajan

All old packages are maintained in the 'archive' repo:

http://dl.iuscommunity.org/pub/ius/archive/

Its not included with the ius-release package configs, and likely not included in most mirrors if they choose to skip it when syncing... but its there for manual download.

Thanks. That is enough as far as I am concerned.
