You are right. Maybe someone should create a bugreport/feature request in the karmic series? https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic

I tried to create a request in brainstorm.ubuntu.com with no luck : http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/20624

I wouldn't say "with no luck"... because your brainstorm idea calls my attention to intipunku, I've never heared about it in the past.. I find it so useful, that I completed the german translation (from 42% to now 99% coverage) in the last 2 days. So I would say you made a good job :). (Someone should review the translation).

Back on Topic: We first need to get IntiPunku INTO the karmic release as a first step instead of replacing f-spot ;).
So brainstorm is the wrong place for it.
It would be really great if you can create a bug report (feature request) in the bug tracker for karmic, you'll find a link in my first post.
If intipunku will be in the karmic release and a lot of people will use it because it's really great, there are good chances that it will replace f-spot in the 10.04 release...precondition: development will go on :)

So let's do it :).

Can you help with this problem?
