Inkscape tutorials do not print out satisfactorily.

Asked by Carmen L

trying to print inscape tutorials in manual form. They print very small and letters are missing in the left margin. Why can't it be printed normally as your see it on the monitor? I have tried to change my Printer to accommodate this mess, but to no avail. This needs work. I'm about to remove inkscape from my computer, if I can't get decent written instructions printed out.

See <http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ#How_can_I_print_the_tutorials.3F_When_printed_from_Inkscape_they_don.27t_fit.2C_and_I_don.27t_like_reading_on_screen.>

Please visit <http://inkscape.org/doc/index.php> where you can access all tutorials formatted as HTML pages which can be easily printed from you preferred browser.

Thank you. Now why wasn't this format put into the program itself, instead of having to go in such a roundabout way to obtain it?? Most programs include a decent printable manual for the users to refer to. But, mission accomplished.

With SVG tutorials, you can see exactly how the examples are made.
They are more difficult to print, but more "interactive" than static HTML.
