HT change color of stroke

Am using the Eraser Tool and it has a stroke color of red so when I use the eraser, it leaves a red line.. I want to change the color of the Stroke to White.. How do I do that?

Hi,

You can change the eraser color in the preferences:
1. First, select the fill color you want for the eraser (draw an object an use Object>Fill and Stroke).
2. Open File>Inkscape Preferences, and select the eraser in the tools part (click on the triangle to expand).
3. Select "This tool's own style" and click "Take from selection".

Note that it doesn't work very well, and that the end of the stroke is still red (on Ubuntu). Probably a little bug somewhere.
