Inkscape

I just want to draw free hand but can't seem to stop it taking over!

I am very new to inkscape, i have a tablet , and would like to do some sketching, i can do it in paint but in inkscape i can't seem to set it to just draw how i want it to without it taking over!!! Any clues for the novice! ( i know it will be a simple button that i haven't found!!)

  You may want to search google, using the type of tablet you have plus the word 'inkscape' you should get a result of web pages that will help you in fixing this.
