how to import gsd fills

I have some GSD fills that I would like to use can I open them with Inscape?

There doesn't seem to be a way to do this at present. Part of the problem is that GSD is not a well-documented format.

Aaron Spike has been working on understanding GSD files, but I think he's still quite a way from being able to write an Inkscape extension that could read them. See his project page at http://code.google.com/p/cuft/
