Hi,

What do you mean by sketch?
If you need to convert a photo to vectors, you can use Path>Trace Bitmap.
If you want to give a vector object a sketch effect, apply a "sketch" live path effect (Path>Path Effect Editor and add Sketch from the list) to the selection.
