Do you have standard autocad dwg or dxf format?

I have AutocD r14, can the trace be saved as a DWG or DXF compatible for my autocad version?

Yes, Inkscape 0.47pre have DXF support.

The dxf format is for a desktop cutter and is not recognized in my r14 Autocad,
Still need assistance.

the dxf format is common format - not only for cutters.
r14 is pretty old version - maybe you could try more modern (and free) CAD programs for doing dfx<->dwg conversion - QCAD, Medusa, Solid Edge 2D (only Windows afaik). There are tons of them atm.
