"Print" dialog problem

Asked by jsandler

On attempting to print from the "File - Print" menu, I see the standard (Vista) print dialog box, not the box indicated in the manual. I cannot adjust the Page Setup settings, since that tab is not present. Can this be changed?

Use menu 'File > Document Properties…' to change the page size (format) & orientation of the drawing.

(Which version of Inkscape do you use? AFAIK the GTK+ print dialog has been used since 0.46, but I can't verify that as I don't have Windows installed)

I think I have the same issue.
I have Inkscape 0.46 under Vista 64
I created a document with a page size of 5.5"x 8.5" portrait set up in the Document Properties.
When I want to print it, I also have the Vista print dialog box and not the one indicated in the manual.
The printer (Canon mp 240) prints it as if it were a Letter size and does not take into account any change I make in the preferences of the printer.

Can you help with this problem?
