Inability to print finished work onto two pages

Computer System - Windows Vista. A saved Inkscape window is capable of receiving additional clip art and these images can be resized, rotated etc. but the finished work needs to be printed onto two sheets of A4. The top half can be printed but clicking the cursor on an empty space in the document does not produce the usual arrowed framing and thus it is not possible to rotate through 180 degrees to print the bottom half?

I have difficulties understanding your description. The best I could make out of it is that you are trying to print an illustration on two pages. The rest is a mistery to me. Could you please rephrase it somehow?
