if I have drawn a rectangle, the inside colour is blue how kan I change it to white

I was drawing rectangles, but they are allready filled with a colour (blue). How can I change it? I want to draw empty rectangles

1. to change the color of your rectangle, select it and open the fill and stroke panel (Shift+Ctrl+F), there you'll be able to change the color of the filling and stroke of your rectangles.

2. If what you want is to change the default blue color, then double click on the rectangle tool, this will open the Inkscape preferences for the rectangle tool, from there you'll be able to set another default color for the rectangles you create. The easiest way is to create a rectangle as you want it to be by default, select it, and then in the preferences panel click on "Take from selection". Then all the newly created rectangles will have that default style.
