Multi Monitor doesn't retain tool orientation windows.

Asked by Ray Teller

I use a multi -Monitor monitor setup Windows 10 and Elementary OS right now.

I relocate ALL my tool windows onto my my second WORK monitor so I have my large monitor free for working.
The Tool Menu take up a huge amount of workspace in general, and worst of all, they don't remember where I put them. Ideally, Inkscape should remember where I put my tool layout on every restart. At the very least, the Document should remember.

I spend a noticeable amount of time each session, setting up my workspace, when Ideally it should just save that configuration.

I guess this is more of a feature request than a bug report.

I would greatly appreciate if all the tool menus where better consolidated to allow more workspace, and had better retention of where I put them.

Otherwise. LOVE 1.0!!! Inkscape is my NUMBER ONE graphics tool. I use many hours of every day.

You can try a development version of the 1.0.x code branch. I think this has recently been fixed (at least partially).

Which operating system would you need the 1.0.x version for? Win or Elementary?
