my plots write over themself

When plotting an object like feet on a bird the plot draws the body over the feet but they are below in my image

Hi Stephen, I think this isn't the best place to get advice about plotting.

Better visit https://inkscape.org/forums/cutplot/ and please include:

- your plotter
- your operating system
- your Inkscape version
- which extension or other way you are using to transfer the data from Inkscape to your plotter
- a problematic file

in your post.

Without that info, it will be very difficult to help you.
