Inkspace keeps crashing on import I have an error message I get.. Glib-error (recursed) **: gmem, c170: fail to allocate 24 bytes

getting error message:
Glib-ERROR (recursed), **: gmem.c170:failed to allocate 24 bytes aborting...

This happens every time I try to import.

Just updated this PC's RAM and hard disk to a SSD...

Please help as I am DOA currently

So, are you saying it worked before you updated RAM and disk?

Or did you rather do a system reinstallation, and are now getting a new error on a new system?

We'd need:

- your operating system (and version)
- your Inkscape version
- where you got your Inkscape from (download link to the file)
- and step-by-step instructions
