gcodetools and gcode plugin do not shown in 0.48.5.0

Hi,

I have downloaded 0.48.5 inkscape and is install in C:\Program Files (x86)\Inkscape.
then I downloaded gcodetools in C:\Program Files (x86)\Inkscape\share\extensions.
then I Execute python create_inx.py to create all inx-files
when I executed python a command prompt windows opens with >>>
when I opened inkscape I do not see in extensions gcodetools command.

also I download gcode plugin to save files in gcode but does not appear when trying to save in gcode

Is there a reason why you're using an outdated Inkscape version that is no longer supported?

Inkscape 0.92.4 comes with gcodetools included.

Dear Hachmann,

I have being trying different versions and I was facing different problems.
Now I downloaded version 0.91 and I typed 2 words in order to test.
I tried to save the work in gcode extension and I get the error attached.

One more question
I am a new user in this software and watched a lot of lessons on video how to use it.
When I made a text file and save it as svg, I use jscut.org a program to convert svg files to cnc cutting patg to set my parameters for Thickness of material to use and parameters of tool and I click simulate gcode I do not see the
Text clear and also the vertical word are some letters missing.
I included files for that.

Do you have any idea!

Hi Nicos,

attachments do not work on launchpad. You would need to post links to any files.

I will only be able to help with errors in the current version, though, I do not have Inkscape from 2015 installed anymore. Also, currently available gcodetools aren't supposed to work with 0.91, as far as I know...

If you decide to install the current 0.92.4, please remove your own installation of gcodetools, as they would override those that come with 0.92.4.

Thank you for your reply.
I have installed .92 version and I am ok now except one thing.

I typed a word, then I separated letters and then I placed one letter below the other.
In other words , vertically.
When I generated gcode and checking with simulation( using jscut.org) out of 4 letters 2 are missing
Do you have any idea!

Yes I have converted to object to path and then I saved it.
The strange thing is that I selected all 4 letters and the 2 letters in the middle are not shown.
