Inkscape

I get dashed lines and not drawn lines in tutorial one.

I drew the swedish flag and no problem. But, when I decided to do the lesson again because practice helps the memory I simply cannot get the lines to go from dashed to drawn. I am assuming that I've unknowningly changed something. I did try the 2nd flag but had trouble with the grid lines there also. Thanks for any help you can give. Go to the stroke tab in the fill/stroke (CTRL+F) and change the style. Inkscape remembers by default the last style used.
If that doesn't, maybe you specified a custom style in preferences.
