Inkscape

I get a Set ThreadErrorMode could not be located in DLL KERNEL32.dll

I downloaded the program and installed it and when I try to run it I get

Inkscape.exe-Entry Point Not Found

 The procedure entry point SetTHreadErrorMode could not be located in the Dynamic Link Library Kernel32.dll

Any suggestions on how to fix it.
I run Windows Vista

can you let us know where you downloded the program (exact link to file), whether the installation process went smooth, and which program version you downloaded?

I have the same error with Inkscape 0.92.4.

I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2.

Paulo, which Inkscape file did you download? Can you make a bug report if there isn't one yet, and, in addition to the requested info, also add a link to this thread here?
