Trying to address envelopes and having trouble

Asked by Bret Wilkewitz on 2019-01-30

The main reason I purchased the product is to be able to address envelopes in a handwriting type script in order to do
direct mail marketing. The first time I went to "Extensions" and then "modify path" and than "envelope" it seemed
to show the shape of an envelope which I started to type script on. I was working through the users manual on how
to have the machine plot the letters when I needed to go to another project. When I came back to try again now when
I follow that same path it says "This extension requires two selected paths. The second path must be exactly four nodes long.

Not sure what I did different can you show me the process of how to get to an envelope template then add font and
have the machine write it?

The extension is for deforming objects in a picture, by indicating an enveloping path.

It has nothing to do with putting addresses on real world envelopes.

What kind of machine are you using for putting the text on your real envelopes?
