I need the background inside my art to be white. How can I be sure it is?

Asked by Sean Cooke on 2018-12-27

I'm using Inkscape to make designs for tee shirts. I made a design my using free photo stock of vector art and I need to make sure that the entire inside of my design is white. It looks white on the screen, but does that mean it isn't translucent? Any help would be very much appreciated. I'm obviously new at this and just a little overwhelmed. Thanks!

Sean, without the SVG file, this is impossible to tell. Please share a link to the file.

If you want to check yourself, go to File > Document properties, and click on 'checkerboard background'.

Also, does your print service actually print white?

Can you help with this problem?
