Select all objects on same x or y position

There are some good options to select objects that share a property, like color or type. It could be useful to be able to select all objects on the same x or y position.

There are two options for this in Inkscape already:

Rough method: Hold Shift, click and drag a selection rectangle around the objects.

Fine method: Hold Alt and Shift, click in same place repeatedly until you have selected all objects.
